My birdhouse is a functioning home for Western Screech Owls — a handmade wooden enclosure featuring an illustration of a genial Northwest woodsman with a glorious beard. As the illustration wraps around the birdhouse, the beard will transform into an owl-filled forest — expressing visually, the joy of being connected to wild places.
