WeMake Celebrates with a Curated Poster Show

Did you know in addition to the amazing lineup at WeMake Celebrates, we’re also hosting a curated poster show featuring ten kick ass artists during our event? You will have the chance to purchase these exclusive screen printed posters, and all the proceeds go towards art and music education in Portland.

Each 18” x 24” poster is a three-color design based on the theme “Celebrate Making” and printed by the crew at Seizure Palace. We have a limited number of prints for each artist, so make sure you join us early and grab your favorites.

The Artists

BeeTeeth

Dan Christofferson is an illustrator, painter, and designer from Salt Lake City, Utah. His art illustrates stories of exile, industry, and the parched, sunburnt west.

Alberto Cerriteño

Alberto Cerriteño is an illustrator & designer who has developed his own very personal technique and style, having always present a delicate hints of traditional Mexican artistic influences.

Blaine Fontana

Blaine Fontana currently lives and works in Portland, Oregon. Imbuing his vision with the divine symbolism of religious myths, worldly folklore and current social dynamics, his works contain a kind of shamanic exploration of meaning that recognizes the totemic quality and power of the image.

Adam Garcia

Creative director, designer, and illustrator Adam R. Garcia’s work spans aesthetic in the fields of design, identities, direction, illustration, event coordination, gallery exhibits and packaging design.

Maryanna Hoggatt

Maryanna Hoggatt was born in the Philippines in 1981, raised in the dusty deserts of Arizona, and moved to the lush forests of Portland, Oregon in 2007. She created her own self-published comic mini-series, and regularly shows new work in galleries. Clients include Willamette Week, Nike, Skullcandy, Microsoft, & Redbull.

Meg Hunt

Meg Hunt is an illustrator, educator and maker of things. She lives and work in the wooded city of Portland, OR. Her goal is to fill the world with her creations, and make people happy in the process by creating charming and colorful character-based illustrations, lettering, and patterns for visual development and the editorial/publishing markets.

Jolby

Jolby & Friends is a collaborative creative studio based in Portland, Oregon. Founders Josh Kenyon & Colby Nichols combine their talents as Art Directors, Designers and Illustrators, utilizing their experience from working within agencies over the course of their careers. They try to achieve two goals within the work they create: “Tell a memorable story” and “make people smile”.

Mary Kate McDevitt

Mary Kate McDevitt is a letterer and illustrator living and working in Brooklyn, NY. Mary Kate graduated from Tyler School of Art in 2007 with a degree in Graphic Design and Illustration. Her clients include Sesame Street, Fast Company, and Nintendo.

Dan Stiles

Based in Portland, Oregon Dan Stiles creates work for everyone from indie bands to major corporations. His work has won numerous awards and has been reproduced in a wide variety of books and magazines. He draws from a broad swath of influences from comics, skateboard graphics and punk album covers to modern art, japanese design, and vintage packaging.

Keegan Wenkman

Keeganmeegan & Co. is an artistic design, illustration and printing company that provides creative in house solutions to local and national businesses and individuals.
