Peep Show

0.00

Peep Show as a theme was appealing for its references to the noises birds make as well as the fact that these houses are going to be on display in the exhibition. A deeper reference to how we as humans are all turning our own lives into a peep show by sharing and oversharing on social media was kept in mind when developing the final form. An A-Frame sign worked as both a way to deliver the message and allowed for a natural area for the loose weaving of the living space to exist. Sting and nail construction was chosen as the method to produce the final sign as a way to elevate the piece and have a visual reference to the natural weaving that takes place in a birds nests. The open sides of the frame allow the viewer to peep in on whatever chooses to make it’s home there.
